Who We Are

Kumawu Technical Institute

Kumawu Technical Institute (KuTI), formerly known as Kumawu Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), was established in 2003 under the Ghana TVET Service and the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI).

Located in Kumawu Nkwanta in the Sekyere Kumawu District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana, KuTI is committed to providing accessible, quality technical and vocational education to the youth of the region.

Our motto — "Skills for Service" — encapsulates our mission: to equip students with the practical skills and professional attitudes needed to serve their communities and contribute to Ghana's socioeconomic development.
